I hope to do this through my business Groove Co. and through being a role model in the agricultural sector, showing our young mob that it’s never too late to learn or change your pathway.”

Braeden Svendsen – Victoria University

Currently in her second year of a Bachelor of Paramedicine Braeden greatly impressed us with her commitment to effect change and help others.

It was demonstrated that Braeden values education and that the opportunity to study is a way to not only improve her own circumstances but that of many others around her. Like many others completing a degree with little financial support has been a challenging journey. To complete her degree she must spend time in rural and remote communities gaining practical experience in an integrated learning placement. The sponsorship money will be used to pay travel expenses to these locations.

When graduated Braeden plans to move to back to central Victoria.

“Once completed my studies, I plan to move to Central Victoria where my tribe is located. I plan to establish great community connection with other tribe members and locals ensuring adequate education and support to attend health clinics, local general practice and hospitals”

We love this practical commitment and desire to help others – well done Braeden!
